Types of paint to use: Testors Paint Markers-Use for painting large parts of the interior, engine bay, or exterior Testors Paint Jars-Use for painting small thing with a very fine brush Materials for the exterior: Testors or Tamiya Spray Paint-Exterior Painting Testors Paint Stripper Testors Primer Steel Wool For Painting the Exterior: For painting the exterior the paint must be stripped and primed.  To strip the paint buy a stripper or brake fluid and pour some of the stripper on a piece of steel wool and brush the paint off.  After all the paint is off your mod your are ready to prime it. Use testors primer and "paint" it on your mod evenly.  Let that dry completely for 24-36 hours.  Once it has completely dried you can paint it, use Testors or Tamiya spray paint.
